Joining the government’s working delegation, the representatives from Thanh Hoa Province included: Mr. Đỗ Trọng Hưng, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Lại Thế Nguyên, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Đỗ Minh Tuấn, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Trịnh Tuấn Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; as well as leaders from various provincial-level departments, boards, sectors, and Thanh Hoa City.

  From Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP), the Prime Minister and the delegation were welcomed by the NSRP leadership team, including Mr. So Hasegawa, Chief Executive Officer; Mr. Phạm Văn Chất, Deputy General Director; Mr. Lê Nguyễn Quốc Vinh, Plant Manager; along with department heads and employees of the Nghi Son Refinery.

  After Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính toured the production area and the plant’s Central Control Room, a working session was held with the delegation. Reporting to the Prime Minister, a company representative announced that the Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Plant had successfully completed its first major turnaround (general maintenance) safely and had resumed supplying products to the domestic market as of October 12, 2023. This event marks a significant investment milestone for the future of Vietnam’s energy production and supply.
